Our Values
BeRe Stewardship is a social enterprise with 3 strong values: Educate, Give, and Advocate.
We believe knowledge is a powerful tool for freedom and stability. We educate with empathy, providing justice-informed financial literacy that meets people where they are and acknowledges the real barriers created by incarceration and reentry. Our goal is to equip returning citizens with practical financial knowledge that builds confidence, restores agency, and supports long-term success.
We believe generosity is expressed through presence and action. We volunteer our time within correctional facilities and in the reentry space, building relationships and offering support where it is most needed. We also donate justice-informed financial literacy worksheets and booklets to returning citizens at reentry fairs, ensuring individuals have access to practical tools and information as they prepare to rebuild their lives.
We believe advocacy begins with listening. We advocate for returning citizens by amplifying their experiences, challenging systems that create financial exclusion, and promoting more equitable access to economic opportunity. Through education and partnership, we work to influence practices and policies that support dignity, restoration, and second chances.
